Incinote runs as a Chrome side panel that analyzes the content of your active tab.
- Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
- Open any webpage you want to analyze — a job posting, an article, or an AI chat (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
- Click the Incinote icon to open the side panel, then click Analyze Context.
- For personalized analyses, saved history, and exports, sign in at incinote.com/login and your session will sync to the extension automatically.
Common questions
The Analyze button isn't doing anything.
Refresh the page you're trying to analyze, then reopen the side panel. The extension reads page content at the moment you click — if the page hadn't finished loading, there may have been nothing to analyze. If it still doesn't work, the page may be blocking content extraction (some banking and authentication pages do). Try a different page to confirm.
I signed in on the website but Pro features still look locked in the extension.
Close and reopen the side panel after signing in. The extension picks up your session token from incinote.com and only re-checks on open. If it's still locked after a reopen, visit incinote.com/dashboard, confirm your account shows Pro, and sign out and back in to refresh the token.
My free quota says it's used up but I've barely used it.
The free tier allows 10 analyses per month, counted per device. The count resets at the start of each calendar month. If you believe the count is wrong, email us with rough dates of your last few analyses and we'll look into it.
Export to PDF / Word / Notion isn't working.
Exports are a Pro feature — confirm your account is on the Pro plan first. For Notion specifically, make sure you've connected your Notion workspace in Settings and that the destination page still exists. If the file downloads but won't open, try a different export format (Markdown is the most universally compatible).
My resume upload failed.
We support PDF and DOCX files up to 10 MB. Image-only PDFs (scanned resumes) may not extract cleanly — re-export from your editor as a text-based PDF if possible. If the file is fine and it's still failing, send it to support and we'll process it manually.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Billing in your dashboard and click Cancel subscription. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period — no immediate cutoff.
Which AI chat sites does Incinote work on?
The extension reads the visible text of whatever tab is active, so it works on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok, and any other AI chat site, plus regular web pages like LinkedIn job postings, company sites, articles, and documentation.
Does Incinote store the content I analyze?
Only when you're signed in as a Pro user — saved analyses are encrypted at rest in our database and tied to your account. Free / anonymous analyses are not saved anywhere on our side. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
Reporting a bug
When emailing us about a bug, the following details help us fix it faster:
- What you were doing when the issue happened.
- The page or site you were analyzing (a URL helps if it's public).
- The mode you had selected (Job Application, Evaluate, Study, etc.).
- Whether you were signed in.
- A screenshot of the side panel and any error message shown.
Feature requests
We read every feature request. Email us at support@incinote.com with the subject "Feature request" and tell us what you'd like Incinote to do and the workflow you'd use it for. Concrete use cases are more useful than abstract suggestions.
Account & data deletion
You can delete individual saved analyses at any time from your dashboard. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email support@incinote.com from the email address on your account. Deletion is permanent and processed within 7 days.
